Founded in April 2019 in Norfolk, Safe at Home emerged from a deep-seated commitment to ensure safety and peace of mind for those grappling with post-separation abuse. In our journey so far, we've successfully installed CCTV at the homes of over 130 individuals, many of which shelter young, vulnerable souls.
Our impact is amplified through invaluable partnerships with esteemed organisations such as Clarion Housing Group, Cadent Gas, EQUANS, Wates Property Group, and United Living. As proud members of the Employers Domestic Abuse Covenant, we champion the cause of safety and empowerment at every level.
Beyond our initial roots in Norfolk, we're excited to soon extend our reach to North London. But our vision doesn't stop there. Our ultimate goal is to present our initiative to the Ministry of Justice, aspiring to extend our protective umbrella across the entirety of the UK. Because at Safe at Home, we believe that no one should live in the shadows of fear, irrespective of where they reside.
Stacy Bradley is not just the visionary behind Safe at Home; she is a social entrepreneur on a mission fueled by her own personal experience. Having personally endured the harrowing challenges of post-separation abuse, Stacy knows all too well the heart-pounding fear that can persist, even after a restraining order has been granted.
Haunted by the lack of accessible support for securing her own living space, Stacy recognized a glaring gap in assistance for those facing similar circumstances. She understood that this gap often translated into missed opportunities to hold perpetrators accountable. In a world where it can become one person's word against another's, Stacy was determined to rewrite the narrative.
Driven by her unwavering resolve to transform lives and make homes safer, Stacy embarked on the journey that would become Safe at Home. Today, her personal experience serves as the driving force behind our organization's dedication to providing security, peace of mind, and a sense of empowerment to those navigating the difficult path of post-separation abuse.
